Green IT: a cost trap? The company reveals how economic and ecological factors can work together for public authority customers |
Everyone is talking about ”Green IT” – and rightly so. It is now imperative to develop and manufacture environmentally friendly products, to reduce consumption and use fewer resources, and to save energy and power.
But how environmentally conscious are Germans when it comes to IT? Which laws already exist for Green IT? Are public authorities pioneers in its implementation? And are consumers ready to pay for it?
These are some of the noteworthy questions to be discussed by senior managers Dr. Joseph Reger, Hans-Dieter Wysuwa and Bernd Wagner during the Fujitsu Siemens Computers press conference, as they look at primary research results supplied by German Research group Forsa.
