| | Corporate Compliance Program |
 |
| |
Upon its formation in 1999, Fujitsu Siemens Computers introduced a company-wide Ethics Policy, fundamental both to our corporate values and culture and our “We make sure” philosophy. The policy lays out guidelines for all employees, emphasizing a wide range of issues, from the importance of mutual respect and honesty to fair competition and from the confidential handling of information to health and safety in the workplace.
In April 2008, our Ethics Policy was enhanced into the more comprehensive Fujitsu Siemens Computers Corporate Compliance Program. This Program focuses primarily on the prevention, detection and handling of criminal misconduct by company employees, but also covers any conflict of interest issues that may be raised by individuals within the company.
In accordance with the Program, every employee is responsible for ensuring that his/her work related activities for FSC comply with the law and with our Ethics Policy. The Program is administered by a Corporate Compliance Officer and, to ensure that anonymous reporting of criminal misconduct is possible, an external law firm. |
