Broad system support
HNC-IIIR 91852 supports a type S channel and can be upgraded with an optional second channel to provide access to the same or a different BS2000/OSD system. It also supports WM (virtual machine) operation with up to 32 virtual channel adapters (16 per channel). Data transfer between different BS2000/OSD systems can take place internally in the HNC-IIIR 91852 unit without increasing network load. It also features an SNMP agent that supports traps.
