SNMP-Light is a demonstration version of the agents, supplied free of charge, for SNMP management of BS2000/OSD. The product provides a representative cross-section of the information of the full SNMP agent. There are Light versions of the following SNMP agents:
- Masteragent
- Supervisor Subagent
- Console-Monitor Subagent
- Application Subagent
- Performance Subagent
- Host Resources MIB Subagent
- MIB-II Subagent
- openFT Subagent

The Light versions of the agents have a more restricted functionality than the full versions. However, they function in essentially the same way and have the same application capabilities as the full versions in the products SNMP-Basic-Agent BS2000 and SNMP-Standard-Collection BS2000.
As they use the standard SNMP protocol, the agents do not require any special management station in BS2000/OSD.
For a comfortable expansion of the management station CA of Unicenter, there is the integration package SMBS2 (for Solaris SMBS2-SO as well as for Windows SMBS2-WIN). SMBS2 contains all for the representation and supervision of the BS2000/OSD systems necessary files. All necessary expansions of the management platform are enforced automatically by the installation of the package.
The package SMBS2-LT is available contrary to the description in the decontrol-communication and the SNMP-Light-manual no longer, but it is referred to the integration package SMBS2 and the network-management-applications of the full version.
