PCs with either a master key cabinet or a master key padlock |
Most of professional systems of Fujitsu Siemens Computers are delivered with a special lock on the front or a padlock on the back of the cabinet. Both types come with two keys per system and perform the same function: the lock protects an ESPRIMO or SCENIC PC, CELSIUS workstation or PRIMERGY server against unauthorised access. If the system is locked, it cannot be opened without the key that has been delivered with the system.
Sometimes though, it would be useful to have a master key for all systems: authorised employees, such as service engineers and system administrators, need to open up the PCs to carry out upgrades or to replace individual components.
Three master keys are delivered to the customer. Extra keys can be ordered on demand.
