With its 2.790 employees, AZ-VUB has become an indispensable part of belgians's medical landscape, famous for its educational and research facilities. The project consisted in the elaboration of a Disaster Recovery Center with a fully redundant configuration. The highest degree of Availability is achieved with the implementation of a PRIMEPOWER 800 cluster based on PRIMECLUSTER and a SAN concept running 2 FibreCAT 4700 in remote mirroring, 2 SAN switches and a centralised back-up solution with the Scalar 100 model.
