Open source software is becoming the most interesting 'new' phenomenon of the entire information technology landscape, generating a level of interest similar to that of the first moments of the Internet. A collection of popular open source software and tools like Apache, Tomcat, Sendmail and Squid, that can be installed as standard Solaris packages, provided from Fujitsu Siemens. It is a pre-evaluated product suite containing the most important add-on components for e-business. By the way the time-consuming search for suitable open source products is eliminated. A pre-integrated product suite means no problems in the production, compilation and integration of disparate open source products, tools and base libraries. The software is precompiled in packages and available as sourcecode.
