CCP-ISDN-LINK and the communications controllers interfaces enable PRIMEPOWER systems to operate on ISDN networks |
The communications control program CCP-ISDN-LINK and the corresponding communications controllers with S0 (2 x 64 kbit/s) or S2M interfaces (30 x 64 kbit/s) enable PRIMEPOWER Solaris systems from Fujitsu Siemens Computers to operate on ISDN networks.
CCP-ISDN-LINK enables parallel network access for multiple communications partners (one or more S0/S2M accesses), e.g. from a GSM mobile network.
In conjunction with ISDN telecommunications systems, e.g. Hicom and computer-telephony integration services (CTI), the interconnection of databases, telephone directories and PC-based telephone services open up multiple opportunities for effective direct marketing.
ISDN links for PRIMEPOWER systems have security advantages, reduce data communication costs and increase the availability of the system. |
