PRIMERGY NX650 provides: a combination of one NX650 Server Blade PRIMERGY BX620 S4 and one NX650 Storage Blade, requiring a total width of two blade slots in the chassis, driven by the pre-installed OS Microsoft® Windows Storage Server 2003 R2.
The NX650 Server Blade is being delivered with one Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® E5405 CPU (2.0 GHz), 4 Gbyte main memory, 2x 2.5” mirrored hot-pluggable SAS hard disk drive (HDD) 36 Gbyte, 6x on board GbE LAN port and one SAS/RAID Controller with 512 Mbyte cache and iBBU.
Optional expansions for the NX650 Server Blade: one additional CPU and 3x 4 Gbyte of main memory. Standard equipment of the NX650 Storage Blade consists of 3x 2.5” reliable SAS hot-pluggable HDD à 146 Gbyte, optionally expandable to 5 HDDs for a maximum storage capacity of 730 Gbyte. The disk drives are pre-configured with RAID 5.
