| The second generation of the FibreCAT TX48 magnetic tape systems emphasizes multiple green characteristics. Besides saving data on tape, the more energy-efficient way to store data, the new systems are optimized for low power consumption when in operation, the use of environmentally friendly |
materials, as well as high and easy scalability.
The other highlight of the new systems is, that they are equipped with SAS interfaces, the future-proof standard for high data transfer rates and trouble-free transmission. Depending on the model there is also a SCSI or FibreChannel interface available. Moreover one year on-site service and a full backup software bundle are included in the price.
The FibreCAT TX48 S2 (4U) is equipped with up to four LTO-3/LTO-4 drives and can store up to 76.8 TB compressed data. |
