| The second generation of the FibreCAT TX24 emphasizes multiple green characteristics. Besides saving data on tape, the more energy-efficient way to store data, the new systems are optimized for low power consumption when in operation, the use of environmentally friendly materials, as well as high and easy scalability. |
The other highlight of the new systems is, that they are equipped with SAS interfaces, the future-proof standard for high data transfer rates and trouble-free transmission. Depending on the model there is also a SCSI or FibreChannel interface available. Moreover one year on-site service and a full backup software bundle are included in the price.
The FibreCAT TX24 S2 (2U) is able to store a maximum capacity of 38.4 TB (compressed) and is equipped with two drives for LTO-3 or LTO-4.
