DeskView™ modules |
Comprehensive information, user-configured alarms and easy BIOS handling
There are seven modules in the DeskView set. They are enabling modifications to be made centrally, thereby offering power technology. Even different modes for clients and quick administration are possible: DeskInfo provides information on the hardware, such as the version, free slots, details of the system board, locally or with remote access via TCP/IP. With DeskAlert impending hardware faults can be detected well before they occur - via alerts and user-defined alarms. Remote client configuration is also possible. DeskFlash keeps the operating system running! This management module is ideal for easy BIOS recovery and updating via the network. DeskSettings changes the BIOS settings and system password centrally. Remote client configuration is also possible. DeskWoL Admin is using the latest technology and can power up clients over the LAN using Magic PacketTM. Users or system administrators of DeskOff can set a client to different power modes at log off, with a click of the mouse or at a predefined time. DeskView Browser makes it easier to start administration programs - especially DeskInfo, DeskAlert, DeskSettings, DeskOff or DeskFlash. Deskupdate allows easy remote driver updates. |
